Mycorrhizal is a soil-dwelling fungus that lives in and
around the roots of plants. The fungi and the plants form mutually
beneficial associations in which the fungi receive carbohydrates from the
plants and the plants receive nutrients and other benefits from the fungi.
This symbiosis relationship promotes healthy plant growth while
reducing fertilizer dependence.
